Some of the Institute’s research is carried further — into full-length works written for pastors, believers, and the wider Church, not just for other researchers.
The Inverted Gospel
The Inverted Gospel is an eleven-volume research project authored by Dr Grant D Muhl, our Head of Research & Curriculum Development. It traces how a specific vocabulary and doctrine have grown up inside the modern Charismatic, Pentecostal, Word of Faith, and New Apostolic Reformation movements — borrowing the historic Church’s own language while quietly redirecting it toward human control — and sets out a documented way back to historic Christian faith.
The research follows the same commitments outlined throughout this site: independent, non-denominational, and tested against Scripture rather than shaped to protect a tribe. Published volumes in the series are released independently through Strathdon Press, distinct from the Institute’s commissioned research work.
The scope, in brief

The Diagnosis
Two founding volumes naming the doctrine and cataloguing the 120-word vocabulary that carries it, chapter for chapter.
History & Recovery
The movement’s family tree, a trauma-informed recovery guide, and a working handbook for pastors and elders.
Practice & the Positive Vision
Liturgies and devotional material for the home and congregation, plus a constructive theology written with no counterfeit to react against.
Focused & Global Studies
A practical guide to reading Scripture well, plus further volumes on politics, biography, and the movement’s global reach.
Two volumes — the founding diagnosis and its companion lexicon — are complete and in departmental editing. The remaining volumes are at various stages, from active drafting to proposal.
